Good Bye

I fall onto your empty page

like paint upon a canvas

You rearrange and then erase

your pain that's spelled through me

Now from this wet and empty page

I peer up at your eyes

to find a weathered storm you've cried

dissolving me away

So here I lay in crumpled pain

still waiting for your pen

to rest your final thoughts in me

and say your last good byes

O, bless your sister in law...these words tell of that pain that creeps in and settles upon one...carefully chosen words conveyed this message well
